Discover Hamilton Part I

Hamilton is being a very nice experience. We have made new friends since the first day of school and we are having a lot of fun. At first, we had a little bit of jet lag and we were so nervous because we didn't know anyone and we were in a different country, but we are learning lots of things and we have more fluency speaking English! -Jordi G.
Canada and Spain are countries with many differences.
I think that the most important difference  is the hours to eat.  In Canada they only eat three times during the day, at 7o'clock, 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock, while in Spain we eat 5 times. However, in Canada when they eat, they eat so much.
I'm having a really good time here, in Hamilton, people are nicer and kinder than people in Spain are.
With my host family I'm doing lots of activities and we are having fun. They like to watch movies, go to music festivals and barbecues.
In the school I'm making friends from Spain but also from Quebec.
In conclusion, Canada and Spain are so different but I like it and this week was great. -Clara J.
Located in the heart of the city is Gore Park. A beautiful green space filled with benches, war memorials and nearby cafes to take in the city.
