Toronto

During the two weeks here, in Canada, I tried different food. The first morning I ate pancakes with maple syrup also I tried peanut butter and poutine that I didn't like it. Reese's biscuits are peanut butter and chocolate and I loved it.
The differences in food between Canada and Spain I've found are the times we eat at, and they eat only three times while we eat five times during the day. Also they cook with butter because oil is too expensive and the taste is very different and it is unhealthy.

Don't worry mom,  I'm eating very well! -Clara J.
We've already been in Canada for a week and a half, and we are getting used to their schedule and their food.
Canadian people have their meals at different hours than Spanish people, but we are trying new things and learning a lot about their cuisine. One of the things I miss the most from Spain is potato omelette, and I also miss having dinner late, but we have discovered new dishes like Poutine, which is made with French fries, cheese curds and meet sauce. Delicious!!
I also have tried Ginger Ale (Canada Dry), a canadian well-known beverage, and I've been twice to Tim Horton's, a famous place where you can have your Ice Capp.
I'm enjoying a lot being here in Canadá.🍁 -Jordi G.
